How do we help people?
We receive referrals from partner agencies and there are two main ways we support individuals, 121 Bespoke Coaching and our Embracing Futures Program, however all are funding dependent:
121 Bespoke Coaching
These sessions are designed to help individuals who are feeling stuck, low in confidence and self-esteem, experiencing high anxiety and so on, our main client groups for these sessions are, but not limited to, people who have experienced domestic abuse and are rebuilding their lives and young people who are struggling with their mental wellbeing as this where our expertise lies and areas in which we are currently funded to deliver support.
This involves an initial 30 minute introductory session, to see if we are a good fit to support the individual and to also see if the individual is ready to engage with us and whether or not they feel the support we are able to offer is what they are looking for, if both parties decide this is a good fit, we then offer 6 x 1 hour sessions typically over a period of 3 months.
Embracing Futures Program – Currently unavailable
This is a program aimed at supporting people to develop the skills they need to move into education and/or employment.
We have an initial 121 session where we discuss what the individual hopes to get out of the program, how we can best support them and so on.
This is followed by series of 8 2hr weekly workshops where we cover the following areas:
- Confidence
- Self-esteem
- Communication styles
- Building resilience
- Visioning for the future
- CV writing
- Interview Skills
- Next Steps
We also have a final 121, and additional 121’s are available to support individuals as and when required.
